RAVENSTHORPE - Aerodrome

Lithium/Tantalum, Nickel, Gold

Location 10km west of Ravensthorpe
No. of Tenements 2
Area 46km2
Geology

The Aerodrome project is contiguous with the Bakers Hill/West River tenements, and covers the northern half of the western flank of the Ravensthorpe Greenstone Belt. The tenements cover substantial ultramafic units of the Cocanarup greenstones, that have been the subject of previous nickel exploration.

Previous mapping at Aerodrome has indicated the presence of pegmatites. Galaxy plans to follow up the lithium-tantalum potential of these pegmatites, which lie on a trend to the north east of mineralised pegmatite outcrops on the Bakers Hill/West River project. In addition, surface geochemistry at the project has indicated some low level gold anomalies.

Proposed Programme Galaxy plans to review past work on the project prior to planning follow up work on the lithium-tantalum potential and if warranted, the gold potential of the area.
